Thanksgiving!!!! :D

Thanksgiving is awesome when it's at my grandma's house. She makes her deviled eggs and they are amazing. They are the best thing at Thanksgiving dinner!! They are the one thing I really look forward to. I also look forward to my great grandma's carrot cake. She is going to be 90 next year and she still makes cakes, pies, cookies, and all kinds of other stuff! I will not go near my grandma's coleslaw. I HATE coleslaw. I cannot stand it!!! It makes me sick! We have the wonderful family tradition of sitting in the family room, watching the football game, and yelling at the television. It's great fun to watch my uncle and my grandpa get drunk and argue over who they think will win.

To my wallflower

Dear friend,
I know it has been a few months since we talked last, but the other day when I texted you, you listened. I needed to talk and you texted me right back and said you were here to listen. I needed time to find out who I was and you gave me all the time I needed and more. You are the best friend I could ever ask for. We've cried, laughed, hugged, even sang ridiculous songs together in the car and when I need you most, you're there for me. I want to return the favor but I can't. It just seems like you won't open up to me when I know that you can and I know that you have before. So, to my wallflower, I love you and everything that comes along with you as my friend. My wallflower, I need you and I'm pretty sure that you need me. Together we are stronger and together we are infinite.
                                    Love always,
                                                 Anna

Spring cleaning

My closet door squeaked as I opened it. I looked inside at the massive amount of stuff that had somehow built up over the course of a month. I sat down and began working my way through it all. I reached through all the junk and my into my hand a little brass knob fell. I slowly turned it, wiggling my wrist to make some room, and pushed open the door it was attached to. A long brightly colored tunnel became visible. I dug through the crap and crawled into the tunnel. There was a door on the other end that opened into a large, dully lit drawing room. How I had never found this place before was beyond me. I walked around the curious place and realized it was like my home. I walked into the kitchen where a woman, my mother, had her back to me. She was cooking. My mother never cooked at home so it was worrisome to see her cooking. I called out to her but she did not hear me. I wondered why. It was almost as if my voice did not work in such a place. I went quickly back to the drawing room where the door was. I tried to pull it open but it had been sealed shut   I realized that I could not go back. That I had no voice. That I am dead. I do not know how I died but I am a spirit that cannot be at rest until I figure out my business here. I will live in this state for eternity.

Halloween

This year for Halloween, I fought the stereotypes and instead of going as a monster or a killer, I went as a demon hunter from my favorite show, Supernatural. When we got to the creepy house, my friend Dylan, who was dressed as my brother, Sam, dared me to go in and  look around. I walked up the creaky front steps and the front door slowly opened revealing although. no one was there. I stepped in and saw the glow from a television in the next room. Upon stepping into the room, I saw an old woman sitting in a rocking chair. She turned around and waved a finger at me with an angry face. I felt the plastic of my toy gun turn cold, almost as if it were changing into metal. The plastic knife in the hole in my jeans grew a sharp edge and sliced a thin line into my leg.
As of right now, I am a demon hunter. I drive across the country in my '67 impala with my brother and kill demons.
